 help you with.

No-one is promised an easy life. We all face difficulties, some more than others. There is no shame or judgement in seeking help to overcome our challenges and try to be a better person than we are. A better person to ourselves and a better person to others.

I specialise in mental health, stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, children, adolescents, parenting, neurodiversity, trauma, emotional abuse, sexual abuse. Other challenges that I can help with, for young and old alike, are:

  • Family dynamics
  • School/work problems
  • Bullying
  • Friendships/relationships challenges
  • Long-term health problems that affect mental wellbeing
  • Sadness, depression, low mood
  • Life events and change
  • Anger
  • Low self-esteem
  • Loss and grief
  • Mental health, wellbeing and resilience
  • Neurodiversity challenges
  • Trauma
  • Experiences of abuse, including psychological, physical, emotional, spiritual, and sexual abuse
  • Parent and child relationships
  • Self-harm
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Self-development and personal growth through the development of self-awareness

Supervision

My approach to supervision is one of being alongside, exploring with my supervisee their process and practice with their clients. Using the “7 Eyes” model by Hawking & Shohet, I keep the supervisee at the centre as we work together towards professional and sometimes, personal development. I practice with congruence and integrity, maintaining ethical and professional standards. As with all my work, I hold a strong Person-Centred foundation offering a holistic approach to the learning and sharing of experience, shining the torch on the ‘dark corners’ so that we can see more clearly what might be hiding from sight.

I promote clear and authentic communication and transparency. I support supervisees as they embrace the learning that comes from the challenges they face, while maintaining the boundaries of practice.

As a supervisor, I work to keep informed with literature and what is relevant to my supervisee’s context; broaden my knowledge through a love of learning; and hold a “generosity of spirit” in sharing my experience and wisdom from a place of support and ethical practice.
